Original MGM pressbook for "CREST OF THE WAVE" starring Gene Kelly, Bernard Lee and Jeff Richards. Pressbook is UNCUT, has been folded but flattened for 11 years!. Excellent Condition based on many pressbooks on the market, is super clean! No marks or tears, very collectable.  Includes many ads, pages of original publicity stories, pictures of all of the film's posters, promotions with rare studio photos,  publicity stills (still are PART OF THE PRESSBOOK, not separate) and much more.
This auction includes an original studio one sheet poster (27" x 41) from the film as an extra (see last photo)!
This poster is NOT a copy or reproduction but a studio original. While pressbooks are my main business, I am now including other movie collectibles  that I have amassed over the years as an extra, a gift to you for purchasing from our store. The pressbook in all of our auctions is the main item because that is my specialty. I do not grade or describe the condition of the posters as I am not an expert on movie posters, stills or lobby cards, it is up to you to study the photo as to the poster's condition. We guarantee that the photo posted here is a direct photo of the poster included (the poster image can be enlarged). ALL posters have some kind of defect  whether it might be pinholes or writing on the back, blemishes, tear, creases, taped areas, an area with a rippled effect (probably from dampness, which can usually be seen on the scans, but not always) so please look very carefully as most of these have been used by theaters. On the other hand as I look through these, some are in great condition as well.
THESE POSTERS ARE INCLUDED WITH THE PRESSBOOK AS AN EXTRA and all posters are included AS IS!
Please note we will not consider a return on any pressbook due to the quality of the poster.

I am disabled and I have tried to package and ship on my own for a few months but it's just too difficult. I had a total knee replacement and will be needing another one, plus my mother's health has not been very good. I have hired help but the only full day available to my new employee is Monday. I didn't just hire anyone but hired someone who has been working with me and my collection for years, who knows the pressbooks and their value and how to handle and pack them. I am very sorry that it has to be this way for now, it will certainly change in the near future. I very much appreciate your patience!

I will be listing thousands of pressbooks from my own collection in the next year. Pressbooks were sent only to theater owners to promote and advertise the movie and are extremely rare especially without cuts.This collection has been of the utmost importance to me and has been stores in a temperature controlled room. When purchasing pressbooks, remember that many were stored in the basements and attics of theaters, and could be damp or marked. I have never purchased any pressbooks that were not in excellent to near mint condition and have kept mine in temperature controlled conditions. It will not be easy to find any cleaner examples. On occasion, the pages may have slightly yellowed somewhat but rarely.

Inquire about quantity shipping. It is not fair to charge the same shipping for each pressbook if you win more than one, I will only charge the postal cost. Pressbooks will be very carefully packed UNFOLDED in a secure large flat package that cannot be bent.
