This spook-tacular 6-page vintage pressbook measures a whopping 11" x 16" and is in superb UNCUT condition with minor overall wear, including its original single center fold, but no major damage of any kind.
Pressbooks were created by the studio and given to exhibitors to convince them to run the film, and to offer suggestions for ways to bring in big crowds. They typically contain cast and crew information, a film synopsis, key and alternate advertising art, press reviews (as well as stories to plant in local newspapers), opportunities to order ad material, and outlandish ideas on ways for theater owners to bring in crowds, including street ballyhoo, tie-ins with local merchants, ideas for special theater displays and events, and much more.
