Brand new, genuine Mercury Marine / Mercruiser Fuel Filter. This is a factory original equipment item, not aftermarket.
Separates water from fuel as it removes other impurities. Fuel contaminated with water can result in poor engine performance, stalling, and damage to fuel system components. Screens particles smaller than 1/1000th of an inch to keep fuel systems clean. for use on 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines. Fits all Mercury, Mariner, and Force outboards equipped with externally mounted water separating fuel filter bases and all MerCruiser applications except certain 1992 model MerCruiser 4.3 Generation II engines
