THE MIDNIGHT STORY pressbook AND POSTER, Tony Curtis, Marisa Pavan

UNCUT Universal Pictures pressbook for "THE MIDNIGHT STORY" starring Tony Curtis, Marisa Pavan, Gilbert Roland. This pressbook has been folded in half (this was very common for pressbooks of the era, as they were large and theater managers and the National Screen Service folded them to file them for future use). It has been flattened in a heavy pile for 15 years so sits very flat, there is no discoloration on the fold.
This pressbook is in great condition with very slight wear at the very bottom hardly worth mentioning but I try to be very precise. this will ship flat, not folded! 12 HUGE pages at 12" x 18", lots of nostalgia!
This auction includes an original studio insert poster
(14" x 36") from the film as an extra (see last photo)! This poster is NOT a copy or reproduction but a studio original. While pressbooks are my main business, I am now including other movie collectibles  that I have amassed over the years as an extra, a gift to you for purchasing from my store. The pressbook in all of our auctions is the main item because that is my specialty. I do not grade or describe the condition of the posters as I am not an expert on movie posters, stills or lobby cards, it is up to you to study the photo as to the poster's condition. We guarantee that the photo posted here is a direct photo of the poster included (the poster image can be enlarged). Some posters have some kind of defect  whether it might be pinholes or writing on the back, blemishes, tear, creases, taped areas, an area with a rippled effect (probably from dampness, which can usually be seen on the scans, but not always) so please look very carefully as most of these have been used by theaters. On the other hand as I look through these, some are in great condition as well and a few look like they were never used. So it is up to you to study the photo.

Check out my other auctions on great condition pressbooks! I will be listing hundreds of pressbooks from my own collection in the next year. Pressbooks were sent only to theater owners to promote and advertise the movie and are extremely rare especially without cuts.This collection has been of the utmost importance to me and has been stored in a temperature controlled room. When purchasing pressbooks, remember that many were stored in the basements and attics of theaters, and could be damp or marked. I have never purchased any pressbooks that were not in excellent to near mint condition.
Inquire about quantity shipping. It is not fair to charge the same shipping for each pressbook if you win more than one, I will only charge the postal cost. Pressbooks will be very carefully packed! The shipping cost is as close to real cost as possible, I am not out to make extra profit on shipping, which includes shipping and extra large folders with cardboard to send them unfolded and protected from bending.
