Additional Info:
This is a really cool vintage trumpet!  Overall it is in good shape and there are a few minor dents and dings in the horn.  The lead pipe has a slight tip down but overall it is in good condition.  It does play currently but sounds like there might be a leak somewhere so it probably needs to go in for an adjustment to be put back into good playing condition.   It looks like there might be a small solder type patch on the lead pipe at the tip just before the mouthpiece receiver (see pics).  The engraving on this horn is really great and is still nice and crisp.  This is a pretty rare find and is nearly 100 years old. The gold plated look is a really cool finish!

The Finish:
It has approximately 60-65% of the gold plated finish tough to tell with the tarnish.
Player Wear:
Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings)
Valve Condition:
All the valves are in good working condition and all of the tuning slides are stuck
Valve Info:
The first valve seems to set up higher than the other two.  Because the valve caps are stuck we are unable to figure out why that is. The second valves bottom cap does not look as though it is screwed on properly but we were unable to move it to fix that.
Lead Pipe Condition:
Light to Medium general wear (visible surface scratches and wear and/or small-medium dents and dings) it has a slight tip down at the mouthpiece receiver.
Back Bell Bow Condition:
Has a light dent in the back bell bow with a small ding (See Pics)
The Bell

No dents or evidence of bell edge dents
Bell Dent Removal/Repair:
No evidence
Re-soldered:
Two or three (See Pics) please see the brace in the main tuning slide and possibly a small solder patch on the lead pipe (please see pics).
Metal Condition:
It looks like someone might have tried a small solder patch on the lead pipe (please see pictures).
The Mouthpiece:
No Mouthpiece is included, or other accessories
The Stand:
If pictured, not included.
The Case:
Older Used Condition (Still usable but significant signs of physical wear) likely the original case.
Engraving:
Martin Handcraft Dansant Elkhart Ind (with floral engraving up to the second valve and a cabin/pasture engraving with hills and birds on the bell) S (on the second valve opposite side of the serial number).

Incomplete Return:
The item will be inspected upon return and if any original parts or pieces are missing you will be contacted to send the missing items back.  If you are unable to return the missing item/part, you forfeit the refund.  All partial items that have been returned will also be forfeited and will be the property of Musical Instrument City.

Damage during Outbound Shipping:
In the unfortunate chance your item is damaged, the following procedure must be followed exactly in order to process a refund. Failure to comply with the following procedures constitutes a violation of the return policy and therefore a refund will not be given. Please contact us immediately. Save everything, including the box, packing materials, and shipping label. Without the original box and packing materials, a claim cannot be made, and a refund will not be issued. Take a full set of pictures so the damage can be assessed. Don’t send anything back yet until we contact our insurance company.  We will tell you when you may ship the item back.  Please see instructions for return shipping below. If it is determined that the item was damaged in shipping, we will send you a return shipping label via eBay Messages.  Refunds will not be issued for merchandise, which has been damaged while in your possession.

Damage during Return Shipping:
The item will be inspected upon return and if the item is damaged during return shipping, we will contact you so you can file an insurance claim.  Because you are the shipper, we cannot initiate a claim.  Depending upon how much damage was sustained you may only get a partial refund or no refund due to the damage.
Instructions for Return Shipping:

Be sure all original parts of the item purchased are included before you return it.

In order to receive a refund our policy requires you to put insurance on the item for its return shipping.

Please use the original packing material and box.  Please use original packing material inside the case around the item.  Also use the original packing material around the case in the box to protect the item from shipping damage. If your item does not have a case, please use all packing material that the item came with to protect the item from shipping damage.

Uninsured packages or items shipped “COD” or “Shipping Due” will be refused and a refund will not be issued.

Once the item is received, we will conduct a physical inspection. This inspection will determine your eligibility for a refund.
