UNCUT United Artist pressbook for "VIVA MARIA" starring Brigitte Bardot, Jeanne Moreau, Paulette Dobost
The pressbooks ink has retained its brightness. Both printed on all-gloss paper.
No cuts. This pressbook has been folded in half in the past but flattened for over 15 years. The pressbook has stayed in great condition.  There is a small crease on the cover where it was folded. There is a small 1/5th inch tear at the fold on the left of the cover (in the margin, it does not affect the print). The front cover has come loose about 1/2 way from the bottom up,, just a separation at the spine which seems to be normal for pressbooks from paging through them. 12 HUGE PAGES AT 13" x 18".
The numbers 66-38 are stamped/written on the front cover. This was done by the National Screen Service (the company that sent these to theaters on behalf of the studios to promote the film) who stamped/wrote this on most of their material in order to file it. What is means is that this was released in 1966 and it was the 38th movie of the year. I have added a scan to show this (see the last picture on the bottom, the stamp is also on the bottom of the back cover, it's very small and also in the white border area only). The pressbook may sound only fair but really all of the pages are in very good condition, just the few issues with the cover.
BONUS: Includes ad supplement with advertisements and information not included in the pressbook.These are rare to find still contained in the pressbook after so many years and these advertisements are very rare, they originally were sent out with the pressbook by the studio but over time many have been separated from the pressbook and lost. Usually the advertisements were designed after the pressbook was printed so they were included, and are not attached but a separate piece showing very different ads than were in the original pressbook. It's a good bet that many of these ads were never even printed in newspapers at the time. 1 page but very different advertisement than what is in the pressbook.

You are shopping my own personal pressbook collection, which has been given the greatest of care. It has always been housed in an air conditioned room, with a large HEPA air filter very close to keep away dirt and prevent extensive darkening of the pages. Most of these have been in plastic and not exposed to air or dampness and in a no-smoking home. All of this is important when considering to purchase a movie pressbook.

Pressbooks were sent only to theater owners to promote and advertise the movie and are extremely rare especially without cuts.This collection has been of the utmost importance to me and has been stored in a temperature controlled room. When purchasing pressbooks, remember that many were stored in the basements and attics of theaters, and could be damp or marked. I have never purchased any pressbooks that were not in excellent to near mint condition.
Inquire about quantity shipping. It is not fair to charge the same shipping for each pressbook if you win more than one, I will only charge the postal cost. Pressbooks will be very carefully packed! The shipping cost is as close to real cost as possible, I am not out to make extra profit on shipping, which includes shipping and extra large folders with cardboard to send them unfolded and protected from bending.
