This is a nice World War II Kriegsmarine Matrosenhauptgefreiter rank chevron that is in excellent condition. It is constructed of gold bullion tape on a navy-blue background. The reverse is faced with an unusual thin black finished leather backing. The insignia is undamaged and remains in excellent condition.
